Kristen Yu is a Senior Genetic Counselor with Geisinger’s Department of Genomic Health and the MyCode Genomic Screening and Counseling Program. She is based in Chicago and part of the Northwestern Graduate Program in Genetic Counseling Faculty. She obtained an M.S. in Human Genetics and Genetic Counseling from Stanford University and a B.S. in Human Development from Cornell University. Her research interests include  describing phenotypes in individuals with variants identified through unselected healthcare population genomic screening and facilitating patient and provider follow-up after disclosure of results.
